Dr. Sadiq Abubakar Mohammed

Dr. Sadiq Abubakar Mohammed, FWACS, is a Consultant Radiologist with extensive experience in diagnostic and cardiovascular imaging. He is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and patient-centered diagnostic services through the integration of advanced imaging technology, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care.

He serves as a Consultant Radiologist at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), Kano, where he is actively involved in clinical practice, multidisciplinary patient management, and the training of resident doctors. He is also affiliated with Bayero University Kano (BUK), contributing to the education and mentorship of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.

Dr. Mohammed is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Excellent Diagnostic and Cardiology Clinic Limited, a modern diagnostic and specialist healthcare center dedicated to providing high-quality medical imaging and comprehensive healthcare services. The clinic offers MRI, CT scan, digital X-ray, ultrasonography, echocardiography, laboratory services, and specialist clinics, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and internationally accepted standards of practice.

A Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), Dr. Mohammed has a special interest in Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, and advanced cardiovascular imaging. He is actively pursuing further international training in multimodality cardiac imaging to bring world-class expertise and innovation to patient care in Nigeria.

Beyond clinical practice, he is passionate about research, medical education, quality improvement, and the advancement of diagnostic imaging in Africa. His vision is to build a center of excellence that combines cutting-edge technology, highly skilled professionals, and exceptional patient experience.
